Eddie is a Harvard graduate, expert tutor, and college counselor who has helped hundreds of students around the world achieve their academic and admissions goals. With years of experience supporting students across the U.S., Asia, and beyond, he specializes in SAT/ACT preparation, college essay coaching, application strategy, academic mentoring, and executive functioning support.

Eddie brings a rare combination of academic excellence, warm mentorship, and strategic admissions insight. As a former Teaching Fellow at Harvard, he knows how to break down complex concepts, adapt to each student’s learning style, and help students build the confidence and discipline needed to excel. He has guided students through every stage of the college process, from developing a balanced school list and crafting standout personal statements to strengthening applications with clear, authentic narratives.

Eddie scored a 35 on the ACT, and he understands what it takes to perform at the highest level. His students value his encouraging, down-to-earth approach, his ability to make learning engaging, and his commitment to helping each student become a stronger thinker, writer, and applicant.

Outside of tutoring, Eddie performs with the Harvard Krokodiloes, Harvard’s internationally renowned a cappella group.

Carly Bolton is a Harvard College graduate with a degree in Economics who has helped over 300 students across five continents achieve their academic and college admissions goals.

Drawing on her experience as a tutor and college counselor with Harvard Student Agencies, Carly provides personalized ACT/SAT tutoring, college essay coaching, and admissions consulting. She has worked extensively with both domestic and international students, helping them strengthen test scores, develop compelling application strategies, and gain admission to highly selective universities.

Beyond academics, Carly brings a holistic perspective shaped by her leadership and professional experience. At Harvard, she was a varsity sailor, president of multiple student organizations, founder of a startup, and worked in finance and banking roles, including with the Harvard University Federal Credit Union. She understands firsthand how to balance academics, extracurricular involvement, leadership, and personal growth.

Carly's approach combines strategic expertise with individualized mentorship. She helps students identify their unique strengths, build confidence, craft memorable essays, and present authentic applications that stand out in competitive admissions processes.
